Spoiler tags are >!X kills Y! First off, for any Mac users who are into emulators, I found this recently and thought I'd let you know about it: However, my primary gaming computer is now a Windows and I was wondering if anyone in the know about emulators could tell me about an emulator for Windows that is this comprehensive regarding the systems it runs. If this doesn't exist, what emulators do you recommend? To clarify, I do intend to use these emulators while following all rules regarding owning the actual game and recommend others do the same. Its just a lot easier for me to obtain emulators than vintage consoles. I'd just get a bunch of separate emulators, and organize their shortcuts and stuff. But then again, I hate myself and make everything unnecessarily hard. But I think that having one of each tool is better than a multitool, because then every individual part is the best there can possibly be. I don't know of any frontends that support -all- emulators, so that's my solution until it exists. So, I'd get Stella (2600), MAME (Arcade games), VICE (C64, C128, VIC20, and some others) Higan (Gameboys, NES, SNES), DOSBox (DOS), ScummVM (SCUMM-based games) EPSXE (PS1), PCSX2 (PS2), PPSSPP (PSP), Project 64 (N64) and Dolphin (GameCube and Wii). And then spend some time getting everything configured and the way I like it. And then back all of that up to a CD or DVD (minus ROMs) because I wouldn't want to lose that work.
